Litigation
Most law firms usually have a separate and distinct litigation department to which all legal disputes are referred for resolution. This suits the lawyers because they are able to draw a line between so-called contentious and non-contentious work. However, this is rarely in the client’s best interest.
If a client has an employment problem it should be dealt with by an employment lawyer with litigation skills and not just an expert litigator. The same goes for property, construction and commercial disputes and disputes arising on death.
By ensuring that litigation skills are acquired within each department of Campbell Hooper and coordinated across the firm as a whole we enhance our expertise within the legal disciplines for which we have an established reputation so as to deliver a seamless service to clients.
However, this doesn’t mean a less assertive approach to litigation. We are determined, tenacious and committed to pursuing the best possible result for you. It does mean that we will always be imaginative in the way we seek to resolve disputes, looking to the courts wherever appropriate.
Our integrated approach means we will be able to help you with a dispute in any of our specialist areas. To find out more, please contact Jonathan Whitehead or any of your usual contacts.
